Aizen Is 3 Months Old!!!

It's hard to believe but he is 3 months old now. I took some pictures and wanted to share this one, don't you just love those chubby cheekers?

Peek A Boo

Melody and I were playing peek a boo with Aizen today to see if we could get a reaction out of him (he'll be 3 months soon). I would hide behind my hands and do the usual ... "Where's mommy?" Then the "Peek A Boo". Melody did hers and then she says... "Where's daddy?" ... Then she says in a cutesy voice "He's at work."

Daddy is working close to 80 hours at work right now between his 2 jobs, September is always chaotic for him. Do you think Melody misses her daddy by her comment? LOL

Been A Rough Week =(

Sorry that it has been a while since I have blogged. It's been a really rough week. Every where I look I see Ruby and I would do anything to have her here with us. I know that there is nothing I can do to bring her back but I just miss her sweet smile so much. There is no pain in this world that compares to losing a child the way that we lost our sweet Roo. Everything happened so quickly and within 24 hours of her being hospitalized we heard those words that no parent ever wants to here.

I know that I will be with her again soon but there is nothing that will ever fill the void in my heart that she fills. I have such great memories of her and thinking of her brings both a smile and tears. So many things that sweet Roo will never get to experience, she was too young to be taken from us.

I miss you Roo and I can't wait to be with you soon. Be a good girl for me.

Newest Addiction

I've been enjoying scrapbooking for about the last 6 months since Ruby passed away. It is so very relaxing to remember the little things the kids do.

Well, I was playing around with a digital scrapbooking program and I'm already addicted!!!

So, here are 2 that I did yesterday of Roo.

Roo Roo's Toothies

Ruby was born at 37 1/2 weeks and when she and I were having a snuggle at the hospital she yawned. I watched and saw 2 red bumps on her bottom jaw. I later asked Dr. Patterson if those were teeth, and Yep they sure were. She was know around maternity as the little baby girl who had teeth.

We went home after a day and a half in the hospital and that night I spent with her in bed with us rubbing on her gums. My less than 2 day old was cutting her first teeth. She was always the kind of child who never got just one tooth at a time, there were always 3 or 4 coming in at the same time.

A Teary Weekend

It's been a teary weekend for our family. Melody wanted to look at pictures of Ruby and we were going through some on the computer and found some that we had forgotten about. We also watched her memorial video from the funeral and that just set us both going. Lots of tears and lots of hugs. We miss sweet Roo so much and want so much for her to be here with us.

Roo's favourite spot was up north in Muskoka. She LOVED the beach and playing in the sand. I found this picture and thought I would share it. It was taken in July of 2006, the summer before she died.

Happy Birthday To Me!!!!!!

It's my birthday today!!!!! Hard to believe that another year has come and gone and I am one year older!! I'm finally out of 30 and am officially 31. hehe

I didn't do a whole lot today, I got to sleep in a bit while Daniel took care of the kids. We then went over to my inlaws and got to see my brother in law (we see each other a couple times a year). Had a wonderful dinner and YUMMY birthday cake.

It was a good day altogether and I am incredibly blessed to have my family with me.
