I can't believe that my buddy boy is 1 today. It has been a long and wonderful year yet it seemed to go by so fastly. He has grown so much and is no longer my little baby, he's my little boy.

So far, he has had his birthday breakfast of mixed fruit and cereal, opened his presents and LOVES them, had a nap, lunch of mixed veggies and bananas and is now to playing again.

Melody and I will be baking his birthday cupcakes later this afternoon. Then will will have his birthday dinner, daddy will come home and we'll sing happy birthday and blow out his very first birthday candle.

My mom is up for his birthday and the kids are LOVING having her here and I am enjoying a bit of a break. We've been snapping lots of pictures and it's been fun so far.

I'll do a post tomorrow with lots of pictures, yes I know you are already asking for them Shauna!! =P You'll just have to wait /giggles

I love you so much buddy boy and Happy Birthday Aizen!!!!

DSB My Highlights Page

I made a scrapbook set to go side by side of when I got my highlights done in April. I just loved snuggling with Aizen while Daniel took these pictures. I can't wait to get them done again, just waiting on these ones to fade out.

Ruby's Footer Stone Is Done

I just got a call from the monument place that Ruby's footer stone is done. They are ahead in production by a month. It wasn't supposed to be delivered til July 18th, and it was delivered last week on the 18th.

We will be going up to Muskoka in mid July and I can't wait to see it and take pictures of it. It's strange but I'm excited to see it, even though it is for such a sad time in my life. We'll be burying Ruby's ashes in August and her footer stone is just a way to memorialize her life and just how much she means to us.

I'll post pictures next month when we are up there.

DSB Aizen And I

I've gotten back into my digital scrapbooking. I got a touch obsessed with crocheting chemo hats and getting the blog going for Ruby's Heavenly Treasures.

I opened up this folder of Amy Sumrall from Gotta Pixel and thought these pictures of Aizen and I were a good fit. I have some other summer pictures that I will have to scrapbook with this kit as well.

The Giggling Aizen

It's hard for me to believe that Aizen will be 1 next Saturday. Where has this year gone??

I thought I would post a few cute things about him. He is a very hard baby to get video of, as soon as he sees the camera, he stops and just tries to get it. So... he was giggling in the crib today and I put the camera by the monitor. Enjoy!!
