Daniel and I went down to Sick Kids Hospital today to drop off some hats that I have made over the past year. There were 137 hats all in total. Mom and dad took care of the kids while Daniel and I went down on the subway. The hospital is right in the middle of downtown Toronto and it's actually easier and faster to take the subway down there.
So, here are the hats that were taken down. As a coincidence, today it is also 3 1/2 years since my Roo was taken Home and the hats got delivered. I do it all in her memory.
Here is the link to my Ruby's Heavenly Treasures blog. Check it out if you haven't been there already. =D
If you are in the Markham area and would like to help make hats or donate time, yarn, ink, paper (for the tags) or small safety pins; please leave a comment and I will get back to you. If you are not near me and still would like to help, leave me a comment and I will let you know how you could help put beautiful hats on some very precious child's head at this wonderful hospital.
God bless, Dee =)

Denise - what a difference these hats will make to the children who receive them! What a sweet out-reaching of love and hope and grace.
I have received gifts when our baby was in the hospital, and - there just aren't words.
Blessings to you as you honor and remember and treasure your Roo in this way.
